Things I Love Today: Apple Cider

Nothing is more fall that a big glass of freshly pressed apple cider. In San Luis Obispo, fall was celebrated with jugs of thick apple cider from Gopher Glen Farms in See Canyon.

Sadly, there aren’t any apple orchards in the city. But Safeway has been carrying this kind of homestyle apple cider for the last few days. It’s great cold (even Rob, an apple juice hater, loved it) and even better warmed up with mulling spices. Maybe we can even get Nicole and Dave to meet us in Sebastopol for some apple picking one of these days.

Have you been to Kozlowski Farms in Sonoma County?
I am from Illinois and I love that farm. They have some of the best apple products. My DH and I have to go there each time we are in the area.
