Crafty: Beeswax Candles

My order of beeswax sheets just arrived from Knorr this afternoon. Let me just say for the record that 20 sheets of beeswax adds up to a box that is a lot larger than I expected. And with one sheet making about nine candles…yikes!

Between this and making honey cookies (preferably with this cutter) I have my work cut out for me! Maybe I should look for a craft-buddy on this project!

i wish i could be your craft buddy on this one, like i said, beeswax candles smell so good.
and i just saw you won the design mom candle give-away! you and your sister come from a lucky family 😉

I bet you could find some beeswax sheets over on your end of the pond! I had so much fun testing out my candles last night.

i will have to see what i can find! we are going to paris for the weekend in a couple of weeks and my shopping list is getting longer and longer 🙂

What a great idea matching the theme of the candles and the cookies! Will you decorate the cookies? Are you really going to make 180 candles?!?!?

I think I’ll just decorate the cookies with a little sugar on top…and yes, I’m really making all the candles!

What a GREAT idea!

I’m interested in knowing what size candles you make. I can’t tell if the candles in the image are tapers or cake candles. 🙂
