Things I Love Today: Spicchi Candy

From all the office gift baskets (dubbed “Christmas nasties” in my family) this year emerged one favorite: Italian Perugina Spicchi candies. Shaped like real citrus slices, they come in not-too-sweet lemon, orange and tangerine. Yum!

I got to taste Spicchi candy last week in New Orleans. They are good. Hard candy with that citrus taste. Lemon is my fav. Found them on line at Ditalia. I’ll probably buy some. http://www.ditalia.com/product/Perugina_Sorrento/Candy

Great but be warned they do eventually disolve, leaving you with nothing. Some work to do here I feel. Only for the neuveau riche!
