Things I Love Today: Limonata

Mmm….San Pellegrino Limonata is the perfect spring drink. It is sparkly and a little tart. Similar to the cold, bright weather we’ve been having this week. The can’s design alone makes me happy.

And when the weather warms up, I think it would make an excellent alternative to margarita mix. Add a squeeze of lime and a salted rim and you’re in business.

Limonata + Red Wine = Tinto de Verano, a Spanish drink that’s also pretty refreshing. You can do it with beer, too.

We are in Alabama and we have it everywhere. I’ve never actually seen it in cans though. It’s all glass jars around here.

It’s good with vodka in it…as sort of a cheater limoncello.

Limonata is seriously my favorite drink. We buy it by the case. My husband likes the Orange kind too. (Not my fav so I’m not even sure of the name, Arancitata, I think)

I must say, this drink can just boost your spirits in two sips. It's like sunshine in a can! I love it best chilled and in those mini glass bottles, especially on summer nights.
