My Christmas Wish List

My Christmas Wish List

I don’t have many wants for Christmas this year. We’re still dealing with the avalanche of wedding presents! But here’s my official wish list:

1. Pajamas – I’m a bit of a granny on this one, I know. I like full pajama sets in solid colors. Either soft cotton or satin (brushed on the inside). They’re weirdly hard to find. All of my pairs self-destructed about 6 months ago.

2. See’s Candy – Dark chocolate molasses chips, nuts and chews and scotchmallows are my favorites.

3. China – We’re still a bit off from finishing our wedding pattern. Mostly we need dinner plates. I’ll finish the rest myself after the holidays.

4. Wellies – I’ve wanted a pair for at least a full year. I’d wear them to walk to work on rainy days or explore Golden Gate Park on soggy weekends. Size 7 tall.

I’ll take some milk chocolate molasses chips (they are hard to find out here in New England)!

I recently learned that if you get those Hunter wellies you need the socks also (fleece lined custom for Hunter), otherwise it’s murder to get the boots off and you’d need your co-workers to pull them off!!!

Ooh, good tip. I always wear this sort of thing with tights…do you think you’d still need the socks then?

I have Hunter wellies and though they are slim around the ankle (lending to their classic shape) I’ve never ad to get help taking them off. A sturdy tug moves them alright and that’s with socks… with tights it should be even easier.

Thanks Ellen! I have crazy thin ankles, so I think I’ll be okay.
