I've been embroidering a lot lately, too! I find it great for instant gratification! (I'm also a knitter….) Thanks for showing us what you've completed! So cute!

Do you put some sort of backing on the inside of the shirt?

No, but I try to keep the knots to a minimum and very small so they won't irritate the baby.

How would you wash these? Hand wash? Will the colors of the embroidery floss bleed at all in the washing? I want to attempt this but didn't know if you have to prewash the floss or something… thanks! Great work!

I've never had the embroidery floss bleed in the wash. I have a few dishtowels that are embroidered and washed often with no trouble. What would be the point of a white onesie for a baby if it couldn't be washed?

    just adorable!
I saw some the other day at Target that had some zig-zag work done on the neckline … almost wanted some in my size.
