To Do: Find South Park

I’ve been to nearly every park in the city except the one in my new backyard! South Park was once encircled by the grandest homes in San Francisco – all that remains today is the little oval patch of trees and grass…which I have yet to find.

We’re on the other side of the hill in the distance of this photo from 1865. You can see photos of South Park now online here. I’m going to look for it this weekend!

I have to warn you, you might faint because this park is so cute. And there is a charming french cafe there, too.

how have you not been to south park?!? i guess if you work in soma it seems weird to not know where it is!

check out caffe centro, mexico au parc, brickhouse, 21st amendment, jeremy's.

it's very busy during lunch hours or whenever it's nice out!

Isda & Co. is there, too.

It's one of the best parks in the city – soon you'll be having lunch there everyday!

Yes yes yes Jeremy's. Amazing shopping, especially when they have a sale.

Great cafes and try to eat outside (if this rain ever lets up) it's great. Have fun!

Definitely try the quiche at The Butler and The Chef! Very cute park indeed.
