Things I love today: Pie

Happy National Pie Day! That’s right: “Created by the American Pie Council, National Pie Day is dedicated to the celebration of pie.” Apparently my office is very in to Pie Day. We have five pies in the kitchen (I recommend olallieberry) and I’m already on my second piece of the day. Plus, a bunch of people just went for a chicken pot pie lunch.

Did you know that the first pie recipe was published by the Romans and was for a rye-crusted goat cheese and honey pie? That actually sounds pretty tasty.
