Things I love today

Today’s cold cloudy weather has me loving the end of summer. I am not sure why, but I like fall so much more than any other season. Maybe it’s the fact that my birthday is in October or that fall is full of cute wool outfits. San Francisco today is perfect for curling up with…
Kickball is out of control

Kickball is out of control

Our local kickball league has transformed from a good natured group of young adults to a mob of hoodlums, seemingly overnight. It started last week when a fight broke out at the post-game bar and someone was caught doing coke in the bathroom. This week, the mayhem continued when we played a super-agro team. The…
Is this just too weird?

Is this just too weird?

Is it wrong to buy logs off the internet for $20? I want to get these as a gift for my sister’s apartment fireplace. Something to keep it looking cute when not in use. At what point should something not be available online… Hmmm…what other things should you not buy online? Bricks? Live fish? Wives?

Post-party glow

Okay, that photo of the giant schwarma meat is starting to gross me out. Time for a new TILT! I am always a fan of lipgloss, in all shapes and sizes. My friend Kate introduced me to this plumping lip gloss from Rimmel when she was in the city this weekend. It’s not too tingly…
Always trust the cabbies

Always trust the cabbies

Late last Saturday night, we took a cab home from North Beach. When the middle-eastern driver heard where we wanted to go, he immediately picked up the cell phone to order a “combo-plate to go” from Truly Mediterranean. He couldn’t stop talking about how great the food is at this place on 16th and Valencia.…
If I had a million dollars…

If I had a million dollars…

Not only would I be rich, take a limo because it costs more and buy a monkey (I have always wanted a monkey)…but I would also own these glorious velvet and bead $780 Valentino shoes.
