Wedding Wednesday: Welcome Back
I’ve survived breakfast and lunch. It would appear that my body is no longer my worst enemy.
So a quick post to welcome back Wedding Wednesday. As you know, my sister just got engaged. She wants to get married in California, so a cross-country wedding means that there will be plenty for me to help with.
So far, she’s ruminating on a casual, outdoor, eco-chic and Mexican-styled event. A shorter wedding dress and lots of tamales.
I’ve signed up to make her invitations on my Gocco printer. This silk screened example from Martha Stewart Weddings {via Jordan} is a great starting point. Here are some other Gocco samples.

Aren’t those invitations fabulous? That’s actually the exact magazine page that my sis showed me when we were talking about her wedding invites. We ended up going with something simpler (I didn’t have a Gocco yet) but we stole the wording.
Those invitations look really cool. Definitely a nice inspiration to work with! Even though I planned my wedding in ’07 and got married 9 months ago in April ’08, I still love wedding stuff! 🙂
Those are beautiful invitations. I’m so impressed that you can make them yourself! I can’t wait to see the designs. And I’m glad you are feeling better because the stomach flu/virus is the pits!
I’ve always loved those invitations. I didn’t adore the $18 a set that they were charging for them. 🙁 Now that I have a gocco, maybe I could do them myself! I’m still afraid to open the box though…
