I’m using my week off between jobs to get organized at home. I’ve cleaned out two closets and our desk already. Time to finally get around to selling the stack of clothes Amber gave me earlier this year. Before I list things on eBay, I wanted to give you first dibs. Email me if you…

This last month was a real whirlwind. Change, especially career change, has a way of just uprooting your life entirely. A few of you have asked for details about the job change. Here are some notes: I was fortunate to have a fairly easy time with the job search – surprising in this economy. The…

I had a lovely time on the train! I boarded the Coast Starlight first thing Friday morning and rode down to San Luis Obispo. I did wear tweed 😉 Just a mini skirt with black tights, though. I enjoyed a coffee along with a cheese plate in the observation car: It was so nice to…

More catching up on the What to Wear queue this week! Andrea has a fun summer ahead: First off, I just wanted to say how much I love your blog. You give me so much inspiration in fashion, decorating, and life! I’m hoping you can give me just a little more inspiration. I’m working on…

Save the date cards are done! I worked with Jean and Trent over the past few weeks to create designs that matched their “farm fiesta” theme. The cards are scalloped 4 bar from Paper Source. I used Jura for the navy fonts and made the picado design based on a scan of a flag we…

I’ve working on a lot of embroidery lately. Plenty of projects between Jean’s trousseau and a wave of upcoming babies. These three onesies are for the soon-to-be baby boy of one of my oldest friends.
