Things I Love Today: The Shoes

As I mentioned, I bought four pairs of shoes for the Ball over the past few weeks. The first, from Nordstrom Rack, was lovely but I soon discovered that the length of the dress wouldn’t allow for heels.

The next two flat pairs were purchased at Shoe Pavilion. Both, not quite cute or comfortable. One was similar to this in a slingback. The other was bronze with a pattern of cutouts. Blurg. Why do flat dress shoes have to be so ugly?

Finally, on Saturday I found these Michael Kors Tiara flats on sale at Nordstrom for $76. My pair doesn’t have so much black in the pattern. I was worried if they’d go with the dress but figured I’d wear them with jeans later anyway. I think they worked out well (see here) and they were also super comfortable!
