Share your brilliant suggestions for party themes, restaurants or other fun birthday celebration ideas in the comments section. I think there will be about 6-8 people helping me celebrate. My gosh, it is turning out to be a crazy day. First I hauled across town for my orthopedic appointment. Two hours just to get a referral to a radiology and a warning that it will involve needles…long needles…inserted deep into the hip. Lovely. And the back at work, I missed my physical therapy appointment…

Rob and I are already getting so booked up for next week! Our good friend Seth is coming to stay over the weekend, we are RSVP’d to a Bombay Sapphire “culinary experience” on Tuesday and now we have ticket to the Warfield on Wednesday. Peter and his band Scissors for Lefty are playing the Warfield…

Unfortunately, all that history comes with a price. $210 online from the Met. Alternatively, a set of these rose gold…

Oops! I left my camera battery at work on Friday. No photos from this super fun weekend, so I drew up some quick sketches for you instead. I hope you don’t mind! On Friday night Rob and I met up with Jordan and Paul for a night of opera under the stars. Rob packed a…

The opera tonight is still on even though the weather hasn’t cleared up as promised. Jordan and Paul are bravely joining Rob and I outside city hall to watch the live simulcast of Rigoletto under the stars. Here’s what I’m wearing: Sweater – Jean gave me a white angora sweater for Christmas last year that…

It’s unique, it has birds, simple designs and a tea cup & saucer instead of a mug. This “Golden Moments” dinnerware from Neiman Marcus is quite lovely! Click here to get a closer look at the pattern in the photos of the bowl and platter. At $400 for a 20 piece collection, the price isn’t…
