What to Wear: Opera at Civic Center

The opera tonight is still on even though the weather hasn’t cleared up as promised. Jordan and Paul are bravely joining Rob and I outside city hall to watch the live simulcast of Rigoletto under the stars.

Here’s what I’m wearing:

  • Sweater – Jean gave me a white angora sweater for Christmas last year that can stand up to arctic temperatures.
  • Jeans – With long underwear underneath!
  • Boots – Very good for keeping your legs warm with thick socks.
  • Down Jacket – A must! Mine isn’t this cute and doesn’t have faux fur on it…maybe I should bring a mink scarf just in case.
  • Hat and gloves – Very important for staying warm.
  • Thermos – Full of hot apple cider.
  • Blanket – Hellooo British Sporting Ltd! I’ll definitely be back here for some goods that fit my own bizarre notion of archery appropriate attire!

Add in a couple sleeping bags, a tarp and some blankets and we’re all set for a glamorous night at the opera! Ha!

I do believe I picked out the sweater, but that’s ok 🙂

Ooops! Sorry Trent! I just remembered that Jean was sad to part with it.
