Bonjour Paris!

It’s official! I’ve booked my plane ticket to Paris and back at the end of November. I couldn’t sleep last night – like a kid from the Disneyland commercial – with Bonjour Paris stuck in my head:

Thanks to everyone who shared the Italy tips previously. A last minute schedule change meant 8 days in Paris and two in Champagne instead. So exciting! Now, I just need to remember where I hid my passport.

I am so incredibly jealous!!! I was a French major, and haven’t back for 8 years, now. That has to be some sort of crime 😉 I can’t wait to hear about where you go and what you do!

Wow, how exciting! Please take lots and lots of pictures so that those of us riddled with envy can live vicariously.

Plane tickets were pretty cheap and with the holiday, I’m only taking four vacation days. You should go for it!

I’d love to see a What To Wear on what you’re actually going to pack, that would be awesome! I’m a new reader and I’m addicted to those WTW posts, they’re so fun!

Oh man, looks like I’m gonna be watching Funny Face this week. It’s a meager consolation for not going to Paris myself, ha.

ok, unsolicited advice, you simply MUST go to La Duree. If not to have lunch or tea at least to get some macaroons (if you havent been there already, you will just love the place, it is so very emilystyle, down to the fabulous little boxes that the women in polka dot dresses pack your cookies in)!

Hooray! ..then you get to go to the Musee d’Orsay.. one of my favorite places ever. You will have a wonderful time and you will get to eat marvelous French Bread.

Oh how fun! If it’s not too cold, have a glace at Berthillon! A delightful place to sit with your morning coffee is the Fontaine des Medicis in the Jardin de Luxembourg. Ooh! And don’t forget E. Dehillerin! And Serge Lutens at Les Salons du Palais Royal Shiseido. Have a wonderful time! And check these out–so beautiful!
