I’m a blog lurker, but I had to come out of hiding for this — no Zara! The leather will be bad/ stiff/ smelly and not age well, the stitching will come undone, it will last MAYBE a year and then be completely dead. Save for quality!

Ha! I am also a lurker. Even worse, a lurker who thinks they probably live in your neighborhood (so many familiar references.) I had to respond because I’m also coveting a leather biker jacket right now! Although the one I’m looking is a bit pricier. So, my first instinct was that this is a great deal for a timeless classic. My second instinct (after reading anonymous) is quality cannot be overlooked. Either that, or I’m just trying to talk myself into my own jacket…

I think that if you’re looking for a leather biker-style jacket, for $200 you could probably hit up an actual leather specialty store and get something that doesn’t smell like cat treats and that will age really well…

I say buy it, but reserve it for wearing when near ocean water, thusly being able to blame actual fish for faux-fish cat treat smell.

And I can’t help but mention that the word verification for my comment is ‘occeam’- eerily close to ocean. Weird.

I didn’t think it smelled that bad. If you are still thinking about it, you should buy it. Hit it with some febreeze. It goes with the tough girl persona 🙂
