Best view in the city!
I’m back from my appointment at the UCSF Spine Center. The 400 Parnassus building there has hands-down the best view of the city I’ve ever seen. A 180 degree panoramic of twin peaks, downtown, the richmond, the bridge and the beach from the waiting room. It makes the view from the de Young tower look positively puny. If you are ever in the area, go up to the third floor for a look.
I went this morning to talk to a turkish specialist about a couple problem areas on my back that are a part of the ongoing saga of “The World’s Wost Butt Injury.” I have a steroid epidural procedure scheduled for early in the morning April 10 to tackle one area of pinched nerves. I’ll be starving and sedated, not my finest combination. But the good news is that when I wake up, I could be pain free for the first time in almost two years!

Good news about the pain free, you are going to need to be in top condition to plan & execute what I’m sure will be the wedding of the century!
I used to have a colleague who had an office on the 16th floor of that building. I would go visit her (after getting my tracheas) all the time, just to admire her view! It is so awesome. Hope you feel better soon.
Last time I had a prime view of the city was from the Fairmont (or is it Fairview?) Hotel, top floor. Since that time….I fear heights, so the third floor seems doable. Thank-you! I moved 6 months ago from Santa Cruz. Love the Bay area!
Welcome to California Julie!
