Party Recipe: Postponed

I just found out that tonight’s dinner party is pushed back to the weekend. Peter is double booked with band practice and a photo shoot and Rob is coming down with a cold. Before hearing this I had set the table this morning so I may as well show it to you anyway! I love the combination of red and orange here.

I also came up with the idea last night to have a “blind” apple tasting as an appetizer for the party. I bought five different apple varieties and will cut slices off of each for the tasting. The variety sticker will hide under half the apple on the platter.

This postponement is probably for the best. I have a doctor’s appointment today about my glute and will be rushing all over town.
