Bargain finder: Cheaper pillows
After today’s Hable Construction throw pillow obsession on EmilyStyle.com, Nicole writes:
I love the pillows from that website but then are soooooooooooooo expensive. I hate that…cute stuff is always expensive. You should add a “bargain finder” section to your blog.
Nicole’s the boss! Here are a few throw pillows that are adorable and cost significantly less than a roundtrip flight to LA:
- Chain link pillows from West Elm – These mirror the organic applique designs from Hable and also remind me of DVF. About $24 each with the case and pillow.
- Palm leaf pillows from CB2 – Very similar to the mum pillows from Habel. At $24.95 you can afford to buy four instead of just one.
- Toss pillow from Bed, Bath and Beyond – Okay, so I don’t actually like any of these. I really just enjoy the fact that they call them “toss” pillows instead of “throw” pillows. Safety first!
- Velvet garden pillow from Pillow Decor – Sort of like this poppy pillow but only $29.
- Grossgrain frame pillow from Linens ‘n Things – Sooo Jonathan Adler and only $19. I also love these neo-baroque pillows.
So there you have it, Nicole. A nice selection of discounted throw pillows that are not quite as cute as the ones from Habel Construction!
