Urban girl tip: Emergency gift wrapping

Here’s a trick I have used several times! If you find yourself with the wrong kind of wrapping paper for a last minute gift, turn it inside out and use the white side instead.

This happened during the Hayfork wedding when Margaret and I were tasked with wrapping the bridal party gifts. But there was only Christmas wrapping paper to be found! We turned those Santas over and jerry-rigged a white wrapping job along with some white ribbon we found. The finished gifts looked lovely and no one noticed the Christmas cheer on the inside.
