What to Wear: It’s Cold Outside

What happened to the sunny September weather? It’s freezing cold outside all the sudden. At least I have a new tweed coat from Macy’s to keep me warm:

  • Tweed Coat – Basically the same as my new coat. I think mine is by Esprit of all things?
  • Sweater – Red cable knit cashmere…you know you love it!
  • Jeans – I’m picking up my pair of Citizens from the alterations department this weekend.
  • Scarf – To keep the curly hair from making the most of the fog and wind.
  • Handbag – Zappos has my Michael Kors bag. And for almost as good a deal as I got!
  • Flats – Uggg…I’m still on the flat shoes everyday. This pair is at least shiny.
  • Ring – From Sundance Catalog, I have a friend who works there.

Stay warm out there readers!

I got a beautiful light green cashmere cable knit sweater from JCrew, the one I was pining for.. at an extra 20% off.. I love it! Cashmere is the best! And I was actually browsing Bluefly for coats yesterday!

I might send you this tweed coat actually. I think it would fit you better than me.

Alterations? You mean at the department store right? Sigh. I need to start buying jeans at department stores. Or at least find a good taylor/seamstress. Recomendations for SLO?

That place on Morro Street between Marsh and Higuera is pretty good. But your jeans always fit perfectly…why do you need alterations?

My jeans never fit right in the waist. I’ve got more curves than the manufacturer allows for. So normally they pucker when I sit. Super anoying to always having to make sure the entire cafe doesn’t know i’m wearing pink undies.

Ahh, that is true! At least you have a butt to keep your jeans from sliding down the back of your legs 😉
