To Do: Free Opera

The San Francisco Opera is holding their second live simulcast event this Friday at 8:00. Rigoletto is going to be performed in the opera house and also shown on a huge screen in Civic Center Plaza.

Rob and I went to see the first of these events last May. Madama Butterfly was shown and the plaza looked lovely all lit up. It’s fun to snuggle together under the stars with a picnic dinner and some fantastic music.

Rob and I will be there this Friday with blankets, sleeping bags, coats, gloves, beanies (it can be quite cold) and a picnic!
