The Fit is Go

Rob and I might be buying a new car this weekend! Our two-seater Miata convertible has been heaps of fun in the city these past two years, but it can be a struggle as our only car. Time to get something that has four seats and a semblance of a trunk!

Normally dedicated used car buyers (aka: cheap), this little 33-mpg Honda Fit Sport seems too perfect for us to pass up. Rob has worked out a pretty good deal with a salesman in Vacaville and we’re going to make the trip this Saturday to see it in person (and maybe visit Nicole and Dave?).

    saturday we have friends in town for wine tasting & dinner. we could do sunday though.

    you guys are funny with your small cars – you need something big (i know rob must want a truck/jeep/etc) 🙂

    And, my nephew was just telling me that hatch backs are super cool right now. So this car would add to the perfect taste and timing of Miss Emily… 🙂 Have fun!

    ooh…I’m jealous. I was looking at little SUVs (like a Toyota Rav4) for when my honda civic sedan gives out but now that I see the little Honda Fit out there..it’s kinda cute. And new ones are affordable!

    PS – We’re getting such a tiny car not just because I love small cars (I do!) but also because we have the world’s tiniest parking spot in our apartment building.

    I used to drive cars with lots and lots of personality but about three years ago I became converted to Hondas because they NEVER BREAK DOWN.

    Hooray for new cars.
