To Do: Navy Make-Up

To Do: Navy Make-Up

My week-o-cute continues today with a fresh new make-up look. Following Blueprint Magazine’s guidance, I’m rocking the navy eyeliner and raspberry lips. This combo is perfect for my blue eyes, dark hair and freckled skin. I feel like a J.Crew ad!

Today’s lipstick is Raspberry Glace from Clinique (Thanks to Jean who passed this down after having to buy it to be a bridesmaid at a wedding). And the shadow is Rich Navy Pearl from Sephora.

Oh man.. it was one crazy wedding indeed. I was one big pink sparkly mess! We didn’t have to wear the same color, but we all went to the makeup counters before the wedding and she insisted we buy most of what we were given in the makeover. And my makeover lady REALLY liked the pink frosty look 🙂

Actually the lipstick wasn’t that bad.. I am glad you are wearing it Em!

thanks for the reminder about clinique’s raspberry glace. I bought it a few times when I only wore clinique and then forgot about it. I’m going to get it this weekend.

I saw the article about navy & raspberry and wanted to try it. The way you described it, I can’t wait to try it!

Okay, I was DEEPLY skeptical about this look — I thought I would be too old and frumpy for it, and that I would look like I missed the last train out of the 80s. But! I tried it and I love it! I bought the L’Oreal HiP Color Truth Cream Eyeliner in navy; the lipstick is Ruby Kiss Moisture Sheer from Clinique.
