Only six days to go before vacation! I am so…
Wedding Wednesday: Hair
So many of the big wedding decisions are done now. It’s come down to the little details. Booking hotels, planning showers, picking out things like ring pillows.
I’m on the last week of letting my hair’s roots grow out so I can try to get back toward my original color for the wedding. Another week and I may resort to a turban. At the same time, I’m looking for hair style inspiration. IMDB has easy-to-sort red carpet photo galleries that are a huge help! A low, loose bun with a couple flowers stuck in seems like just the ticket.

You can’t see the picture very well online, but MSW had an article about hair years ago (2000), and it showcased a really great braid updo, that would be really classic to go with your dress (is also great because it would be pretty with a single flower or pearl bobby pins).

love this hairdo (the Reece one) – sounds like a great choice
I used this picture as part of the inspiration for my wedding hair. Love it.
I think Reese’s hair always looks lovely. You can’t go wrong copying her.
This is such a classic look that it will still look lovely in 30 years. 🙂
That hair do Reese is sporting is lovely.
If you want a little more detail… I really love the updo that the main character is wearing in the Disney Movie – Ice Princess. When she’s in her final competition in the dark blue outfit. I’m telling my girlfriend to watch the movie to copy the style for her wedding!
How weird am I?
That’s how i did my hair. the bun was loose and off-center. we planned to add flowers but, in the end, we just thought natural looked best.
