What to Wear: Belted Chunky Sweaters

According to Harper’s Bazaar, belted oversized chunky knits (5 of 7) are big for fall. Today’s freezing 53 degree weather is a perfect test for this look. So far, I like it a lot:

Sweater – Something really chunky that hits right at the hips. Ideally, it should poof out a bit over the belt. I’m wearing the thick gray cardigan I took to Paris.
Skirt – My legs are braving the cold in a pair of nude fishnet tights.
Striped Tee – From H&M.
Belt – Mine is purple from H&M.
Shoes – Purple flats to match the belt.
Purse – From Anthropologie.
