LAC: Field Trip to SFMOMA
The San Francisco Ladies Activity Club went on a field trip last night. We met at SFMOMA for a peek at the Richard Avedon exhibit. Despite the crowds, it was a lovely show. It’s incredible to see his photos up close and personal, especially the later work which is so intimate about wrinkles, freckles, expressions and tailoring.
We also toured through a video work and the Georgia O’Keeffe and Ansel Adams exhibit. Some nice pieces but a little overly packed for my taste.
After the museum, we indulged our inner tourists with margaritas and dinner at Chevys down the block.
