Holiday nuts

I admit that I was a little obsessed with getting a bowl of whole, in-shell nuts for the living room this Christmas. It’s not a tradition for us – just something that seemed a little vintage & a little fun. Very tasty too!

Oh, our family is nuts, too! I mean, it's a tradition for us to have a bowl lying around. I brought in some to work as a tasty, healthy snack, but be careful – you can get shells stuck in your keyboard! It's maybe better left in the living room.

We used to do the same thing. Although as a child I never had the patience for cracking my own nuts, and the grownups quickly tired of doing it for me.

Definitely something to bring back now.

my gramma always had a bowl of nuts out from thanksgiving through the winter holidays. You've inspired me to bring back that tradition in my family! happy holidays to you, your blog never fails to brighten my day.
