One of the upsides of my trademark no-planning travel style…
Glacier Point Backcountry Ski Adventure
Rob and I are leaving San Luis Obispo today and meeting a friend in Yosemite for a backcountry ski adventure!
It’s 10 miles each way on groomed trails up to the Glacier Point hut – which doubles as the National Park gift shop in the summer. The hut provides bunk beds along with dinner, breakfast and lunch before you head back out. It should be warm and sunny, with just a few places we’ll have to walk since the snow is melted.
This will be my first big adventure and our only ski trip of the season after the pneumonia delay.
