Things I love today: Dolly Parton

I have new found appreciation for Dolly Parton. I just watched Dolly Parton’s interview with John Stewart on the Daily Show. She is so smart, friendly and genuine, it’s hard not to like her.

Plus, you’ve got to admit she’s pretty dedicated to the same “little lady” philosophy that EmilyStyle.com strives for. Dolly definitely has me beat in one area though – wink!

Oprah had Dolly Parton on one of her shows and Oprah made a comment about how tiny & petite Dolly is. Dolly’s response killed me.

“I have little feet and a little waist because nothing grows in the shade…”

Gotta love that 🙂
