Crafty: Origami Easter Eggs

Crafty: Origami Easter Eggs

This is a really fun and easy Easter craft to try with friends. We made Martha’s origami easter eggs for the April LAC party last year.

All you need is some gorgeous origami paper, a brush and glue. The original instructions call for real blown egg shells – super time consuming and not great for groups. You’d be fine using good quality plastic eggs instead. The final results are a fun addition to your annual easter decorations!

I’m working on my “Easter Tree” today. I went and got an azaleia? I think I’m going to take it back and just pick some rosemary and put it in a vase. Free and it smells great.

Yay! You’re such a “Williams Woman” now. I love it!

My mom and I made these last year. We had so much fun doing this. I think we improved on Martha’s idea a bit by using wooden eggs from the craft store and then glossing them over with several coats of varnish after the modge podge dried. The eggs you show in the picture have prettier papers than I was able to find in Utah.

    I love oriental designs.
