Tour Fever: French Food Blogs

Food blogs are so inspiring! And French food blogs are especially fun for menu ideas during the Tour. We had fondue last night, perfect for rainy stage 2 ending in Gent, Belgium!

Here are a few good cooking blogs:

  • La Tartine Gourmande – Authored by an expat in Boston, this blog features amazing photos and recipes in both French and English (and in the matching measurement systems).
  • Becks & Posh – Technically, the author is British but her husband is French so I’ll count it. Bonus points for being San Francisco based.
  • Ms. Glaze’s Pommes d’Amour – An American chef in Paris. With video clips!

Yum!

I’ve read these blogs before and they always make me crave french food and a baguette.

The french really know how to eat. Us Americans could learn so much from them.

I want to learn to make a proper quiche.

Oops, just a little glitch, it is called La Tartine Gourmande. You will find delicious recipes at La Tartine Gourmande, She excels at taking food pictures.

This is one thing great about being a bilingual French Canadian; you can take the best of both cultures. I adore French cuisine.
