Wedding Wednesday: For the Birds

After our ceremony outside, I think we’ll have our guests toss birdseed as we walk down the aisle. These simple paper cone packages would be ideal for packages of seeds on each seat.

yes! I tore this page right out of Martha, I’m planning to use the idea for a baby shower I’m throwing, for the favors. I’d lvoe to see a picture when you’re done.

Please take this in a non-snarky way. While the packaging is totally cute, I went to a birdseed wedding and had seeds in my hair for the rest of the night (seeds+curls= no fun!). I was not the only one. Maybe direct them to sprinkle it like a path? (Also avoids the Juliette Low grain-in-ear deafness issue– she’s the founder of the girl scouts, went deaf from rice in the ear at her wedding!)
