Urban Girl Almanac: Where in the World?

It’s Friday already? Wow, that business trip did a number on my week. Here’s what I learned this week:

• Waving while holding your political sign on the corner helps increase the honk return ratio.
• Waving for three hours results in very sore shoulders the next day.
• They’re filming a movie about Harvey Milk with Sean Penn in my neighborhood.
• Opening up a fragrant tin of hummus is a quick way to make all your seatmates on a plane with no food service jealous.
• I despise air travel.
• I like business meetings.
• Hyatt Place hotel rooms are pretty perfect.
• Avoid Tulsi pomegranate green tea. It’s tasty but dyes your teeth bright yellow, as Rob and I both learned the hard way.
• Mmm…greasy Chinese take-out is perfect for the lunar new year.
• LOST! How cool is the new anthropologist/clairvoyant angle? Love this show.
• The LAC website is coming along!
• 8 months to go until the wedding?

We’re going to the climbing gym tonight and to a birthday party tomorrow night. The rest of the weekend is free and clear. Now that the sun is out and the weather warmer, I want to go for a bike ride.
