Five Reasons I Love San Francisco

San Francisco is so funny sometimes. It really brims with character. The last few days have demonstrated some prime reasons why I love this city:

1. Because a pink-chandeliered night club shares its space with a baja-style taco shack during the day.

2. Because my street smells like orange blossoms all summer long.

3. Because you can see a dog sitting on a bar stool, drooling over a bike messenger’s slice of pizza at a hipster bar on a Thursday after work.

4. Because Rob and I have a weekly music class at lunch where we basically just rock out for an hour. Our instructor jumps between guitar, harmonica, piano, maracas and snare drum solos while we try our best to keep up.

5. Because you can sit on an old sofa and watch Army of Darkness while having a $3 pint.

I’m glad the weekend is here, I need some time to recuperate from the busy week. I was telling Rob this morning that between our music lessons and athletics, we basically have the packed schedule of a suburban eight year old.
