To Do: Upgrade Glasses

Mad props to Ikea’s turbo durable Svepa glasses. We’ve had these indestructible glases for almost five years. Especially, impressive considering that they’re $6 for a dozen. That’s cheaper than oranges!

I’m thinking it might be time to upgrade to something a little more minimal and versatile. Something along the lines of these simple Zac glasses from Crate and Barrel. The tricky part is that I need something that stacks to take up less cabinet room.

The “Hadley” glasses by Martha Stewart at Macy’s are similar to the Crate&Barrel glasses but are tapered just enough that they stack nicely. I love mine!

The C&B glasses are great, but I love the Marta glasses from CB2 — inexpensive, slightly tapered and they stack really well.

had to laugh at this post. we’ve been rocking the Svepa for like 7 years. Just registered for the Strauss from C&B becuase my weird fiance wanted a square-ish glass. I feel badly putting them in the dishwasher because they feel fragile compared to the beefy IKEA indestructible glass, even though I know they’ll be fine.
