Dontate to Patrice’s Wedding
I love my readers! Generous feedback so far about Patrice’s vintage style wedding. The bride is on a very tight budget for her marriage in August.
If you want to chip in a couple dollars to help Patrice, click on the donate button below. Our goals is to raise $50 to help her get the wedding outfit of her dreams.
Or, send me an email if you want to mail a check. I’ll keep you posted on the total as we go along. I’ll transfer your donations to Patrice on Monday. Thank you!
Here’s a note from Patrice:
I just thought I’d tell you the history behind why I want this 1940’s theme. My fiance (Jason) and I have a relationship a lot like the Notebook and I absolutely love that movie, my favorite. I sob when I watch it and it would mean everything to me to be able to have this wedding inspiration.
PS: I fixed the button, sorry for the delay!

Thanks, this was fun! I hope we can see pictures of what she comes up with. Made me feel good to do a good deed for the day:)
Is anyone else having trouble with the donate button not working?
I’m with Chelsea…I’d love to see what she decides on!
Yes, Amy … I couldn’t get the button to work for me either.
relationship like in the notebook? meaning all they ever do is argue and make out?
Button works now. Thanks! I hope she gets the wedding (and more importantly, the marriage) of her dreams!
that photo reminds me of when my grandparents got married (my grandfather was in the navy), and i think it’s such a sweet and romantic idea for a wedding. and it’s so sweet of you to be doing this for her. i can’t wait to hear how everything turns out!
Just want to say thank you to everyone who helped me with my ideal vintage wedding. God Bless you all! thanks so much Emily=)

P.S. Uptown Girl this is for you: No my relationship with my fiance is not all about making out and arguing. The Notebook is a classic love story of acceptance of one another and true love. I relate to the movie because of a very intimate love I’ve finally found in a world so full of artifial things and chaos.
