Rob and I are going to the Marin Mountain Play…
Wedding Wednesday: Inspired
Snippet & Ink’s latest real wedding set my heart all aflutter. After I stressed out for a second looking at all the perfect details of this event, I realized that this lovely evening is almost exactly what we already have planned. Check out the matches:
Rustic North Bay location
Vintage family wedding dress
Afternoon event
Yellow, ivory, green and brown colors
Ring bearers instead of flower girls
Suits instead of tuxes
Family style dinner
Oneida Bellini flatware (I didn’t realize this until looking at my catering contract wanting to upgrade)
Hand-picked wines
Non-traditional cake
How great is that!? The wedding I was coveting turns out to be just what I’ve been planning. I think I’ll do my seating cards in simple envelopes like theirs. And I like the sign letting people know they can take the centerpieces, I always feel a little sneaky when I leave with flowers at the end of a reception. Click here to see more details.

I loved this wedding and I thought of your wedding first thing when I saw it.
I LOVE this wedding..everything that I want in my wedding!
It’s definitely a good feeling to know that what you’ve been dreaming of will be coming to fruition.
LA-LA-LOVE it!
Yeah, but she doesn’t have a variety show!
First time visitor to the blog – good luck planning your day with your husband. We, too, had a non-traditional day. My mother gave us a lovely idea I would like to share. She gave us a small journal and pen for family members to recall the event. We have some wonderful written accounts – from a variety of perspectives. We love it – I always like to share that idea.
