Grateful: Free Hairpiece

One more great gift from the blogosphere. Last week, Sherri emailed me with the fun offer of a free hairpiece:

“I happen to have a vintage, 1950s style (I don’t know the actual period– ebay!) hairpiece that you might want for your second dress. It is a velvet teal headband approx. 2” wide, that cuffs across from ear to ear, with matching feathers on one side. It might even have a little birdcage veil attached– I don’t recall.

I bought it for my own wedding two years ago and then learned I was allergic to feathers! It’s been sitting in the box it came in in my closet ever since. If you are interested, please let me know and I’ll drop it in the mail to you (postage on me– I’d be glad to see it go to good home).

The hairpiece should arrive next week! So, there you have it: the internet is the best.
