To Do: Napkins

There are so, so many lovely details from Shauna & Jeff’s Marin wedding. I’m cribbing as many as I can for our own event.

In particular, I’m a fan of the way the napkins are folded into a long strip and tucked under the plates. That, combined with the plated salads and champagne, should make for a delightful table as our guests sit down.

Yes, do the napkins now! When I was an event planner, a recurring anxiety dream was that I had forgotten to put the napkins on the linens order, and I had to walk around handing paper towels off the roll to the billionaires at dinner!

Ohhhh…. I love this wedding, and hadn’t noticed that detail. That might solve our issues, and make it so I don’t need to make runners (and you know I love simplifying).
