Don't get me wrong...I am 100% pro-party. I really am…
Beach Week: Inspired by Pigeon Point Lighthouse
Life at our imaginary lighthouse beach home is nautical, wordly and relaxed:
- Bikini – A dash of hippie flair in green and white ikat.
- Ship – It is a lighthouse with a long nautical history, after all.
- Tunic – In beaded yellow from Bluefly.
- Bracelet – Leather and a hamsa charm.
- Book – Virginia Woolf’s To the Lighthouse.
- Sunglasses – Aviators from Macy’s.
- Adirondack Chair – For watching the sunset.
- Potted Succulents – To replicate the ice plant fields.
- Plates – Picnic-ready melamine plates painted with fun birds.
Pretzels, a little hummus and a glass of Bonny Doon wine…perfect!

Absolute perfection.
I feel oddly compelled to say that I think a deck of Tarot cards would work in this setting.
Definitely! There was actually a deck of Tarot at the place we rented in Moss Beach.
I'm loving beach week. And I've wanted to stay at that lighthouse forevs. Mmmmm.
Perhaps the Tarot cards themselves sent me psychic vibes? Can you tell I grew up in Northern California? I too am loving beach week. Are you going to go north and do Stinson too?
When I was in Calif. last week. I saw the most amazing succulents.. it was the shape and size of a basketball. It was so amazing.
