Busy Day

Busy Day

If New York is the city that never sleeps, San Francisco is the city that loves to sleep in. I got to work at 5:00 this morning for an early start to a busy day.

It was startling to see that I was nearly the only one awake at that hour. No early morning street sweepers, deliveries to shops, investment bankers opening with the markets or lights on inside apartment buildings. Nothing is more quiet than San Francisco at five in the morning.

All this to say, I’m crazy busy today and will be back tomorrow!

I used to go to work at 5am all the time (in Daly City – just south of SF) and driving through the city at that time is odd. It's even hard to find a cip of coffee at that time.
Once I was in the habit of early rising, I enjoyed the tranquility and always had my most productive hours before the rest of the world woke up.

Really? Huh. My bus is always full. The streets are relativly empty, but stuff is open downtown, and people are hurring up to their offices.

Be glad 5am isn't an everyday thing for you. Very glad 😉

I'm interning down in Mountain View this summer; my office doesn't get busy until past 11:00! It's a strange culture for sure..
