Kids in Tow: Showing Little Ones San Francisco
San Fransisco has a lot to offer our littlest visitors! Pack snacks and be prepared for long days out and about:
- Spend a day at the Exploratorium and wandering the Palace of Fine Arts park outside it
- Take a boat to Angel Island with picnic supplies from the Ferry Building
- Go the Academy of Sciences first thing in the morning and have lunch in the very good cafeteria. Let the kids run in the Botanical Gardens after
- Go to Paxton Gate’s kids store and have exotic Indian ice cream down the block
- Take a lucky girl to afternoon tea at The Palace Hotel.
- See a Giant’s game complete with garlic fries and a trip down the Coke bottle slide
- Ride the F-train to see the Musee Mechanique in Fisherman’s Wharf. Have lunch at In-n-Out. Don’t bother with anything else down there
- Walk Crissy Field to the Warming Hut for a snack. Continue to Fort Point for a good explanation of the city’s military history and views of the Golden Gate Bridge
