To Do: Beeswax Candles

I usually make honeycomb candles for Christmas – but I ran out of time this past season. So, they were cute for small Valentine’s day gifts instead! I made sets of mini tapers for my team at work and three larger tapers for my boss.

For mini tapers, use an 8th of a sheet (about a 4″ square) rolled around a wick. For the larger, it’s a half a sheet cut lengthwise. The small tapers burn for around an hour.
I used natural colored wax this year, but I think I like the brighter yellow better. You can order all the supplies needed on Knorr Beeswax.

Ohh, the scent of beeswax candles! There really is no no scented candle that can beat the scent of a real beeswax candle in my opinion. I might have to go and get the supplies to make my own today. You have very lucky colleagues!
