Hawaii: The WIld and Wonderful Farm Stand Produce Found in Maui
How well do you know your tropical produce? Can you identify all 13 of these fresh fruits and vegetables from the local produce market in Maui? Leave your guesses in the comments below.
I had a fun excursion to the farmer’s market stand in Kihei this morning.
Regular produce at the grocery stores here can be super expensive. Understandable, since that $5 head of broccoli has been flown in 2,500 miles to the islands.
Besides, who needs broccoli when you have all these amazing tropical picks to choose from instead.
Look for details and recipes using these supplies as we count down to the end of our trip to Hawaii next week.

I believe I see calamansi, Asian pear, mango, papaya, plantains, taro, and of course, pineapple. Fun!
