A New Spin on Mini Golf in San Francisco

A New Spin on Mini Golf in San Francisco

Last week was a whirlwind! Keeping two teenage boys entertained and fed in San Francisco is a full-time job. Isaac loves mini golf and I was surprised to find that a new indoor course opened up in the city when Rob and I were away traveling. First step at Urban Putt is picking your color of golf ball from vintage vending machines.

There’s a small bar and a restaurant, but the main attraction is 14 holes of cleverly-designed, San Francisco-inspired miniature golf.

Each hole has a unique theme and hidden tricks: from cable cars and subway tunnels to a tilting maze controlled with a joystick.

The Day of the Dead hole is particularly long and winding.

A few of the holes were still working out the kinks, but overall it was a perfect place to spend an afternoon in San Francisco with teens.
