SPIN loves Scissors for Lefty

Our favorite band, Scissors for Lefty, got two big mentions on Spin.com this week. The first was a round up of the New Year’s Eve show: “For Bay Are toe-tappers, the hands-down hot-spot for spending the last night of 2006 was San Francisco indie mecca the Mezzanine” (I had no idea I was so trendy!).

And Scissors for Lefty is the Spin.com Artist of the Day on the homepage today! Congratulations guys! Peter and Rob used to be cube-mates back in the dotcom days and I remember the early SFL shows in pot-pie restaurant basements and Chinatown dives well. It’s amazing how far they’ve come over the last six years.
