Inspired: Jamali Garden

Thank you Domino Magazine for including a link to Jamali Garden in your latest issue! (remember the bronze urn from the dark flower article?) This online floral supply store has all the good prices of a floral wholesaler but without all the ugly options.

Plus, way less expensive than the other centerpiece options I’ve found. I just can’t decide which I like best for my yellow and white flowers. These planters? This nickel bowl? Antique copper urns? What a great resource!

I’d go with the Antique copper urns because they will mesh with the space. The nickle bowl is too traditional and the the planters feel like they are the wrong shape(just my opinion). Jamali is great, just order way a head of time. I have had some long wait period on orders with them.

Ooo, I like the nickel bowl a lot. I think it looks elegant and soft. The planters seem a little too harsh. The copper urns are nice too but I can imagine that the nickel bowl would look stunning.

I definitely vote for the copper urns. They seem to combine structured and rustic into one!

Emily, your site is so great, and then you go and post a link like this and make. my. life. Perfect timing.

As for your fantastic wedding, I’d go with either the nickel bowl or the copper urns. I have always loved the way those nickel bowls look, filled with flowers. But either would be gorgeous.

Do tell! What sort of vase emergency did I save you from?

I love the copper urns, especially with a coordinating ribbon tied in that recess below the rim. Of course if your arrangement will hang over the edge skip that expense, but the urn design seems perfect for that element.

The copper also seems to coordinate with the pictures you have shown of the space. I seem to remember wood walls or dark gold or bronze drapes.

Oh man, that was me up above, with the “You saved my life!” comment. Blogger signed me in with my Google Mail blog e-mail address, and I was totally like “WAIT.” Anyway!

I’ve been looking for affordable Mint Julep cups for a long time now — all the sources I’ve seen (in the back of MS:Weddings, mostly) have been insanely marked up. Now you’ve shown me a great source for them. And the site also has some great ceramic square planters/vases that would be perfect for a brunch I’m planning. So seriously, you saved my life. My LIFE.
