Urban Girl Almanac: Titan of Business

This week has been really, really busy at work. But in a nice way. I’m left feeling successful, important and good at my job. How often does that happen? Here’s what I learned:

• San Francisco is a lot of fun during a heat wave!
• Which Fringe Festival show will I go see tonight? You Go First, because he commented on my blog.
• Family style catering is a go. Even though you have to pay a little more for extra serving dish rentals.
• Burning man cars: scourge of San Francisco.
• Rope climbing is tougher than bouldering.
• I hate trying to sell my car.
• Sushi delivery alone is a good reason to live in an urban area.
• What?! Coupling is over?! Not. Cool.
• Don’t forget to enter to win free shoes.
• Grass fires make for gross air quality and a red sun in the city.
• I finally geeked out and made an Excel spreadsheet for the wedding.
• It’s pretty amazing what a little bright lipstick can do.
• How to succeed in business: Be nice. Get it done.

I’m off to the climbing gym with the guys tonight, followed by a late play this evening. Project Paint the Living Room starts tomorrow morning. Have a great weekend!
