Wedding Wednesday: Flowers in Your Hair

A couple small heirloom roses tucked in behind your ear. It doesn’t get much more romantic than that for wedding day hair!

Using silk flowers is supposed to be easier and more durable, but there is something special about using the real thing. I’m going to ask my florist for the bouquets to save a couple extra tea roses for my hair. If they fall out during the reception, so be it.

So pretty. They don’t hold up very well. They wilt pretty quickly so maybe have her save a couple and put one in the fridge:)

Ohh, I love the look of little flowers! I don’t know if orchids fit in with your theme but I’ve used those a couple of times in hair and they have longer staying power than roses… Good luck!

i had a big silk flower in my hair, mainly because i hate the way wilted flowers feel. but a bunch of tea roses sounds very pretty.

I wore a crown of (real) flowers.. mostly roses at my wedding and I felt like a princess. It was so fun and more than a decade later.. I still think it’s a classic look. Wear flowers in your hair for sure 🙂

i wore orchids, they lasted all day … and i just had my florist throw a few in the fridge and then my darling new hubby would let me know when i needed a fresh one – which i only replaced 1! plus later you can press one and keep it as a reminder of how rockin’ gorgeous you look that day :0)
